Originally constructed as the residence of James Nield Sykes, a prominent mill owner in Lindley, the manor has stood as a testament to Georgian architecture and local history. In 2016, Sara Presley acquired the then-dilapidated building and embarked on an extensive £5.5 million restoration project. Her vision transformed the former children’s home into a luxurious venue that honours its historical roots while providing modern amenities.
