Whether we want to admit it or not, our furry friends are a huge part of our family, so allow me to capture their personalities in these stunning pet ‘pawtrait’ shoots. I’m not just limited to cats and dogs, I’m an all round animal lover, and I truly believe that every animal has their own unique personality, just like humans do.
My aim for your pet photoshoot is to create a mixture of fun, regal and charismatic images with a timeless fine art look, so that your pet’s personality shines through.
I don’t start photographing straight away, I like to ensure that your pet is familiar with me first and their surrounding so they feel comfortable during the photoshoot. Your assistance is also required with interacting and positioning your pet during their photoshoot as they trust and respond to you. I actively encourage (but don’t push) owners to also be involved in at least a couple of photos as well so you have a lasting memory of you and your pet together. Your pets are part of your family and family photographs are so important, so please come dressed prepared. This also applies to your pet so please choose their collars, leads and any other accessories carefully and these will be featured in the finished images.
A pre-shoot questionnaire is sent to you before your pet’s photoshoot so I can get to know your pet as much as possible before their photoshoot so I can portray their character as best as I can in their finished images.

Pet 'Pawtrait' Session
These traditional and fun pet shoots can be as quirky or regal as you like, and generally last around an hour (but, don’t worry, if they take a little longer this is absolutely fine, there is no pressure on time and there will be regular breaks as and when your pet needs them), and take place in the comfort of my studio so your pet feels secure and comfortable. Or if you prefer, to a favourite ‘walkies’ or outdoor spot and create some beautiful natural outdoors photographs. Equine photoshoots would take place either at your stables or paddock, and also include a mix of natural, creative and fine art images.
Please feel free to bring along any outfits, bows or any other accessories, along with their favourite toy (noisy ones are great for grabbing their attention, along with treats) and anything else you think will make them feel comfortable.
All the images from your session are professionally edited with a fine art style finish, adding a perfect timeless look to your pet’s pawtrait session.
Your session comes with three package options detailed below, which you select upon receiving your viewing gallery. There is a £50 booking fee to secure your slot which will be deducted from the package total.

'Twelve Months of You' Session
There’s no better feeling than welcoming home a new family member, and with these Twelve Months of You packages, we can document your furry friends first year of family life with you.
We would meet for 3 Pet Pawtrait photoshoots in their first 12 months with you to celebrate ‘gotcha day’, then at around 6 months and their first year anniversary or birthday. You will be able to look back and see just how much your teeny tiny fluffy friend has grown, trust me they don’t stay diddy for long. Let me capture these memories for you. Watch them grow in your home and in your hearts.
Each session will last up to approximately 1 hour (but, don’t worry, if they take a little longer this is absolutely fine; there is no pressure and there will be regular breaks as and when your pet needs them). After each session, details of an online viewing gallery will be sent to you so you can see all the edited images from the photoshoot, and where you can then select your digital images and matching prints, and anything in addition to your package.
There is a £200 booking fee to secure your slot with the remaining payment due no later than the day of your photoshoot.
Included in each session is:

'Forget Me Not' Session
Whether we want to admit it or not, our furry friends are a huge part of our family, but sadly, our pets are not with us forever. Let me capture treasured memories of their golden days with a precious Forget Me Not session; a photoshoot dedicated to the bond between you and your pet, capturing their personality, love and legacy.
These are generally much more relaxed sessions filled with cuddles, treats, and love. They will last up to approximately 1 hour and you can either bring your pet to the studio, go to a favourite walkies spot or local park, or I can come to your home for a lifestyle photoshoot.*
Please feel free to bring along their favourite toy (noisy ones are great for grabbing their attention) along with treats and anything else you think will make them feel comfortable, or that you may wish to include to remember them.

Manhattan Tray frame
High impact metallic colour options with a floating effect shadow gap perfectly frame your photos. Available in acrylic or fine art print finish.

Wooden ladder

Master Craftsman Qualification
Having won many awards, achieving my Master Craftsman Qualification with the Guild of Professional Photographers in pet photography with a panel of 20 cat images has been the highlight of my Pet Photography career to date. Fewer than 50 photographers in the country hold the Master Craftsman title so it really is an incredible accomplishment.
