Built in the early 1840s, the wedding venue maintains many of its original features and adds a modern twist to a classic style.

Make your way down an elegant staircase from your suite and round to the modernised Castania ceremony room to be greeted by your wedding guests and fiancé at the alter, ready to become newlyweds. The Castania is light and airy with views of the gardens making a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony and ‘signing the register’ photographs.

There is a small grassy area to the front of the venue with rows of trees lining the road to the venue, a small garden with a fountain feature piece to the side of the venue and also a large garden to the rear of the venue with gorgeous flower beds, trees and leads to the woodland, giving a range of options and beautiful backdrops for your group photographs and also your romantic newlyweds photographs. The cute woodland hidden away at the back of the garden also creates some gorgeous rustic backdrops.

The elegant Crystal Suite for your wedding breakfast and evening reception is light, airy and modernised, boasts panoramic views of the garden and has it’s own private bar. It is quickly transformed and a dance floor is added ready for partying the night away.
With the Cloisters Spa on site along with The Fat Abbott for dining, this really is a fantastic venue and one of my favourites to photograph weddings at, and I can’t wait to photograph here again.
