Where are you based, and what areas do you cover?
I’m based in York and photograph weddings, families and pets all across Yorkshire and beyond. From the Yorkshire Dales to the coast, I’m happiest with my camera in hand and a joyful story to tell. Take a look at my York wedding photographer and Yorkshire wedding photographer pages to see more.
How would you describe your photography style?
Vibrant, colourful and full of joy! I capture relaxed, real moments as they unfold, the laughter, the happy tears and all the little in between bits you’ll want to remember forever. No stiff poses, just you being you.
What do you photograph?
Weddings are my first love, but I also photograph families, portraits and pets (I call them pawtraits!). If it involves love, laughter and maybe a furry friend or two, I’m in.
How much does wedding photography cost?
Full day wedding coverage starts from £1,700. Every package is designed around giving you a relaxed day and photographs you’ll treasure forever. You’ll find all the details on my wedding photography packages page.
How far in advance should we book?
Popular dates, especially summer Saturdays, can book up one to two years ahead, so it’s worth getting in touch as soon as you have your date. That said, if your wedding is sooner, do still ask. I’d love to help if I’m free!
Have you photographed at our venue before?
Quite possibly! I’ve been lucky enough to photograph weddings at some of Yorkshire’s most beautiful venues, including Hazlewood Castle. You can browse them all on my wedding venues page. And if your venue is new to me, even better, I love exploring somewhere new.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
Then we make magic in the rain! Some of my favourite photographs have happened under umbrellas and dramatic Yorkshire skies. I always have a wet weather plan, and I’ll keep everything relaxed and fun whatever the forecast says.
We’re nervous in front of the camera. Can you help?
Absolutely, and honestly, most couples tell me this! My whole approach is relaxed and friendly. Think of me as your cheerleader for the day. I’ll gently guide you when you need it, and the rest of the time you’ll hardly notice me. The nerves melt away, I promise.
Do you offer drone photography?
Yes! Where the venue and weather allow, I can capture stunning aerial views of your venue and celebrations. It’s a wonderful way to show off the setting you’ve chosen.
Can we meet you before booking?
I’d love that! We can chat over a cuppa or on a video call, talk through your plans and see if we’re a good fit. No pressure at all. Just get in touch and we’ll arrange it.
How do we book?
Simply send me a message through my contact page and I’ll check your date. For weddings, a booking fee secures the day, and then the fun planning begins!
Can our dog be part of our photos?
Oh, absolutely yes! Whether it’s your engagement shoot, your wedding day or a dedicated pet pawtrait session, furry family members are always welcome. I might be as excited to meet them as I am to meet you.
